– Landscape Design Planting Plans, Commercial
Location: Europe
Landscape Architect: Peter Donegan MSGLD |

Detail:
- Planting plans required for an outdoor courtyard space with where penetration of the ground was not logic due to the buildings function. Within elements of constructing the landscape not parallel outside of the box thinking had to be found.
- It was requested that the planting and its installation at any point would by design and construction be temporary, though it would remain permanent.
- The planting was to remain in keeping with the buildings surrounds and not compete with the existing building architecture, but yet enhance it.
- Working closely with the Client, a soft yesteryear pallet of colours and plant choice with seasonally changing scent and flowering times was chosen to coincide with newly installed mature trees, defined (temporary also) corten steel supports and aged timber seating to give an appearance of what has ‘always been there’ tying in the buildings age/appearance to visitors.
