
Peter Donegan will return to Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show 2024 (MIFGS) to design his second show garden there since winning Gold medal April 2023.
Peter Donegan is the series garden designer for RTE television’s DIY SOS The Big Build Ireland.
In 2001 aged 24, Peter Donegan Garden Design was borne and swiftly won a host of awards for 17th & 18th century gardens & show gardens at national competition,
April 2019 Peter designed at RHS Flower Show Cardiff winning Silver & in 2020 was accepted to design at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.
Selected to represent Ireland to design & realise the Irish WW1 Centenary Peace Garden at Chateau de Peronne (2018). He returns to design there again in 2022.

The Australian Institute of Horticulture (AIH) has immense pleasure in announcing that The Green Space International Award and, The International Award of Excellence have been awarded to Garden Designer Peter Donegan.
It is the first time The Institute has bestowed its most coveted award to a gardens in France and also for The Award of Excellence to be presented to a landscape designer from Ireland.
Delighted to announce that post my keynote speaking at Australian Institute of Horticulture Inc. conference and, awards Cairns 27th October 2023, I will be returning to Melbourne, specifically The University of Melbourne (who have sponsored the venue) Burnley Campus, where I spoke this March.
