Though not as pleasant to view on instagram as versus the usual illustrations I might usually show here, it is these drawings to scale that allow for exact numbers, dimensions and sq metres to order for soft landscaping and hardscaping; of plants, for exact plant sizes, heights, girths and numbers (again), on scaled drawings that allow a me to pass these to a number of or preferred contractor to achieve a same end result and precision costs + timelines calculated, on behalf of client.
Daydream to design – equation | drawings to cost – to realisation and, only ever appearing like a daydream.
Further, on paper, or iPad if I may, allows maintenance costs, green waste removal, lighting and irrigation to be calculated / considered with full accessibility (paths all a minimum of 900mm for eg) taken into consideration to fit the clients budget, without it ever appearing like that ever mattered, to make a house a home.
