I got this lovely note from Ben Farr who runs Finn Mc Cools surf shop, in Dingle…

Ben quickly followed this up with this little gem….

And Finally:

Philip Voice of LandscapeJuice.com

Listen!
Originally recorded for The Sodshow [Friday 18th March], the garden radio programme I present on 103.2 Dublin City Fm, this is as promised the extended interview with Philip Voice of Landscape Juice.

Philip was across with me in Dublin for 3 days and his thoughts and reasons for about the future and future trends within the landscape industry based on what is happening in the UK is to me one of the most interesting pieces of audio I have picked up in a long time. Enjoy.

You can of course listen to The SodShow as it sounded and came across the airwaves.

As always, an honour Philip.

Last week was national tree week. You still have time to plant… but hurry!

Séan Smith sent me this one:

GIY week runs 12th to 19th March. From yoga for gardeners in Dartmouth Square to livestreamed events on the www.giyireland.com and also on www.facebook.com/giyireland – where they are trying to get 100,000 people to pledge to grow some food this year.

Of course Séan’s own GIY Rathgar branch who I spoke with before, will be meeting on 28th March in the Rathgar Junior School at 8pm for anyone curious about growing their own.

Also City Centre GIY meeting on Saturday 12 March at noon at the Food Co-op

And Finally:

went out for a walk last Sunday up the backroads of Ballyboughal and met these two lads…

It’s official The Sod Show on 103.2 Dublin City Fm is Dublin’s Only gardening outdoor radio show.

Hello Peter,

I asked around any of the stations I knew and there are lots of features within shows, as you knew, but apparently there are two standalone shows. That said, Radio Kerry’s is only 15mins long and Midwest Radios only runs from Feb To Sept, see some of the emails below:

Midwest Radio:
ye we run a gardening show – it’s an hour long programme and normally runs from about end of Feb early March to Sept on a Saturday morning.

Radio Kerry:
15 mins every Saturday … it is called “The Kerry Garden Show” – technically it is a standalone even though it’s just 15 minutes.

Ocean FM – Donegal
We currently only run a gardening slot which runs for 30 mins on a Wednesday but have not got a dedicated gardening programme at the moment.

C102 & South East have slots

And Finally:

for the week thats in it….
