Back Garden Landscaping Dublin

dublin landscaping garden (2)

If you were to ask me over, let’s say, the last 15 years in business as Donegan Landscaping the gardens I remember the most and more importantly why. The answer has and always will be those that were built for the nicest people one, I in this case, could ever meet.

Working for the loveliest people in the planet should not be underestimated – we all know the alternate – But it is such an important factor for me, that is welcomed into your home and your garden. It matters how we chat and talk and one might even say get to know know each other. It makes a difference to the end result which is essentially your garden. And dollars aside, when you smile – I know and I am reminded that it is such a wonderful thing that I do as my work [?].

Back to this garden, the video – before images up to 0:59 minutes and the after video following – below explains what it was and what it became that is so much better.

Peter Donegan Landscaping – 8 Different Back Gardens

herbaceous border

The following are a selection of private back gardens that I made over the last year or so. There’s no apparent reason why I chose the following 8 gardens, apart from the fact that they all are quite different in their finish, their budget and also what they were before I got to them.

After 14 years creating gardens as Donegan Landscaping, naturally, I have seen just a few more than that and the following might just get you thinking in the right direction.

There’s a link below each pic if you want to read a bit more about them and see some before and afters.

Re the pic below; of course I don’t go making gardens in my Sunday best. But the day that one was taken by my mate John was a grand day and St Stephens Green behind me always looks superb. Even in autumn. As a good gardens should. Anyhow for now…

Enjoy. Peter x

Landscaping: Back Garden. Swords, Dublin

donegan landscaping

There’s a wee bit of reeling in the years with this garden, but it cropped up [see what I did there ? cropped ? anyhow…] in conversation very, very recently and fair to say this garden and the people I made it for made me smile very much. The best ones always do. 😉

To the gardens advantage you might say horticulturally, there were neighbouring buildings overlooking and almost immediately that allowed the introduction of some younger lower in height growing tress and taller growing shrubs to be planted across the white-painted back wall. And though it may sound funny looking a little closer at the image above, the thinking behind this garden was for it to be of low maintenance. Not car park type zero maintenance, if you get me – just lower.

Wanna see what it looked liked before I got to the tasty bits ?

Landscaping: Back Garden. Co. Meath, Ireland

I’ve been creating gardens under the Donegan Landscaping name since 2001 and though this garden was made a little ago now, my reason for stalling off posting a full note on it here is that I just couldn’t find any of the before I got there images. Worth the wait, the best of the worst is pictured below.
