It is always a pleasure to be asked back on to chat with KRCL 90.9 Salt Lake City with of now good friends Lara Jones and the Punk Rock Farmer Aldine.

On this occasion we were chatting about Gilgal Gardens celebrating 20 years young, an eclectic but most wonderful place that really shouldn’t make sense in terms of garden design theory but, it does. And the story behind it you will utterly love.

You can listen to that conversation below:

I first met Aldine and Lara when I was in Salt Lake City March 2017. It involved a very long story that includes my being The Hibernian Society’s guest of honour alongside President Mary Robinson, The Irish Consulate for San Francisco and myself who were asked to speak to a select audience at The Alta Club at a St Patrick’s Day evening soiree; that all wrapped around some gardening talks and workshops I was there to do and some conversations recorded with Al and Lara.
