I have an old dead tree, and having in mind to paint it later-for a bird roost- I cut it to about eight feet tall and left short (12-18 inches)limbs spaced about 2 feet apart (4-5 of them) then left it to the woodpeckers for a couple of months.Virginia USA
I plan to paint it “redwood deck rust color” then paint the short branches different colors and maybe whit stripe the trunk (barbershop pole style) and rig some type bird feeder on top. we`ll see.
well done you mate….. and when it’s all done, you might send me a photograph… I’d love to see it mate 🙂
really appreciate that one – it’s brightened up my evening
