October 2018, Matthew Appleby of Hortweek, a publication I’ve been reading in print since I was in horticulture college, published this little overview of the Gardens of Peace being internationally designed and realised in the Hauts de France, Somme region of Northern France to mark the centenary of the end of the first World War.

October 2018, the latest edition of The RHS, Royal Horticultural Society’s The Garden Magazine featured a lovely mention of the garden designers of The British Isles selected to represent, design and realise garden in the Somme Region of Northern France to mark the centenary of the end of WW1.   Read more

Radio Interview: WW1 Memorial Gardens of Peace, France

I was delighted to speak with KCLR’s Ken McGuire from the moat of Chateau de Peronne as we were mid flow through phase 1 of the build for this War Memorial Garden (of sorts) to mark the end of World War 1. Better known as a Jardin de la Paix or garden of peace.
