Really enjoy listening to your podcast! I find it much like listening to a friend tell me stories…
It’s very nice that you include specific information about places/businesses you’ve visited, especially recommendations for them and why you’d recommend them. (Liked your camping tips as well.)
I really agree with what you said in regard to people giving value to those who are visiting their establishment or attraction (in this case, your comments about charging for the car park). It’s important, particularly in these tough economic times, that business owners give value for money to the locals who may visit. Encourage people to get out and enjoy what the country has to offer. They’re already charging for everything else once the visitors get there; at least give them a place to park their car, so they can visit without the bother.
It’s not often that you hear a podcast that is one continuous take, and I say “well done!” that you can do it with very few distracting vocal inflections (I tend to say “Uh” frequently and have rather long pauses when we record.). If you are editing, good job making it seem like you’re not!
Keep up the great work! We have subscribed to the podcast on iTunes now, so we won’t miss any future episodes. Cheers!
A Chara Kathy,

] thank you !
They are usually people, who have businesses, that have in general said/ say hello, goodbye and thank you – and provide a good service. In short deserved of the mention. In Roscommon and camping terms, they are gems I stumbled across! [thank you! ]
The €4 car park charge is ludricous. Fact. If they lifted the barrier, the people attending would multiply in the morning and would spend anyway. I feel for the locals, parents, guardians getting their children out into the great outdoors. Up until 3 years ago this was free.
Yip. One continuous take. Gulp! and once again, thank you!
Thank you, thank you and thank you
Don’t I feel all fantastic now
beir bua agus arís go raibh míle, míle maith agat

I’ve hacked out a lot of Elder and Whitetorn from the ditch behind the trees, and there is still more for me to take out. Once that’s done I’ll take some more photos.
Thanks for the advice Peter.
